On Mission: Here & Now

The missions field is all around us.
According to statistics, 269 million people across North America do not know Christ, but hundreds of churches are closing their doors every year. Now is the time to act, and North American missionaries are through church planting and compassion ministries. More than 5,000 are at work in large cities, rural communities, and college campuses. They proclaim the good news and gather new Christians into the body of believers. These men and women are finding ways to meet needs and engage in community, and it’s making a difference. However, the needs outpace the workers; many more are needed. Let’s put our hope in the Lord of the harvest; ask Him to send more workers into the field.

The Week of Prayer for North American Missions is your opportunity to join the work of missionaries across the country. When you pray for missionaries during the Week of Prayer, you support their work of sharing the gospel and serving people.  Read through their stories and discover the ways God works through your prayers.  You'll also find specific ways to continue praying.

God also touches lives through your gifts to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.

Your prayers and financial support through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering are critical provisions for our missionaries.

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is the primary way we support mission efforts in North America. One hundred percent of gifts given to the offering are used to support Southern Baptist missionaries serving across the United States and Canada. Your prayers and gifts  will help send and sustain missionaries on their important work.
