Worship Arts Ministry

The purpose of the Worship Arts Ministry is to share the Good news of Jesus Christ to the unsaved and build up the believer with the Word of God through the creative arts. This includes music, drama, visual arts as well as the many facets of technology.

Vocal Groups

We have vocal groups for all ages at different times of the year. Kids Praise and the Youth Praise Team are seasonal groups that allow our young people a chance to learn music and lead us in many of our worship services. The Worship Choir is for anyone 7th grade up and serves regularly in our services through not only specials but in congregational music as worship leaders. They also present seasonal special services for the community. The Worship Choir does not require an audition. All are invited.

Drama

Drama is utilized in seasonal special events as well as support for sermon topics throughout the year. Drama serves as an outlet for those with these gifts and skills. Our desire is that we explore the use of all the creative arts in portraying the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Production Team

These are the people that nobody sees unless something goes wrong. Our incredible production team are the behind-the-scene champions that actually make Sunday’s happen. Cameras, lighting, video, sound, stage, and computer operators are vital. There’s never a dull moment in the world of live production.

This new and influential ministry has so much potential to enhance our worship services with visual and audio clips as well as photography and graphic arts to enhance our services. If you have computer and/or editing abilities, along with creative and supportive personality of service ministry, you can have a place at Aspen Park serving God and growing with others with your talents and desires. Utilizing our video equipment in our worship services is a wonderful opportunity of ministry to our church family.

Stage Craft

Can you swing a hammer without hitting a finger? Can you paint a wall without painting yourself into a corner? Can you move a chair without tripping? Then you may be just right for this team.

What is Stage Craft? Simply put… it’s the WOW factor. It’s that moment when you walk in our worship center and think to yourself, this is going to be good! It’s creating anticipation and setting the context. We desire to create a worship experience that leaves you wanting more, inspires you to invite a friend, and moves you to a deeper relationship with the Father. The environment is a person’s first impression of our worship experience before anything even happens on stage, so we want it to be good!
